My teacher recommended this.

My teach had this on his IPad and I am so happy that I got this for free with app of the day!

Great

Really fun game

Overall

Overvall, the game is really fun, enjoyable and a time killer, but there is one LITTLE bug that bothers me. The fact that you cannot earn anymore daily rewards after getting Santas sleigh daily reward. Thank you for making it worthwhile.

Pretty good

(Edit: I got the game when it was free app of the week. Given the knowledge that its normally $3, Id still consider it a good game) Im a fan of the genre, as I spent many years playing Tyrian, and many of the things I enjoyed about Tyrian are here as well. It has a unique art style, a catchy soundtrack, theres an upgrade path (although not nearly as variable as Tyrians interchangeable collection of ships, weapons, parts, etc.). Theres levels and bosses that get progressively harder and occasionally the fun superboss level. I enjoy the gameplay, graphics, sound, and overall experience enough that I bought the qube doubler & mega qube to support the development and to progress faster. Turns out I progressed too fast, I think. After just a couple hours of play time, I have the Dark Violet which is the best ship (it comes already fully upgraded) and after a couple more hours, more qubes than I know what to do with (I ended up going an hour and a half without dying and got over 50k qubes). I dont have to pay money for more qubes. If I hadnt paid for the doubler and magnet, itd have taken longer, sure, but Id probably still enjoy it. Unless there are other ships with higher max upgrade levels, it would appear I have beaten the game. (If the other ships had specific abilities, or different kinds of weapons, that might incent me to fill out my collection) The graphics are a nice mix between lo-fi and hi-fi, a crock pot of blocky almost Lego-like models and modern day motion blurring, God rays, and lighting. (Played on iPhone 6, 6+) The sound track is fun, could use a bit more variety though--listening to the same 4 tracks over and over again makes me just switch to silent mode and listen to my own music. Speaking of listening to my own music, the game pauses whatever Im playing when I start the app, so thats kinda annoying. Should auto detect that Im playing something and mute its own music and set the SFX levels appropriately to not interfere with what Im listening to. Performance is great on 6/6+ except for a severe delay in the tunnel between stages (more pronounced on older devices). The resolution isnt native, so it looks a little blurry (as in, blurry resampled pixel edges, not the artistic blurring during the level). Plays great with AirPlay/HDMI mirroring. Would like MFi controller support added at some point, its a natural fit for the genre. Saving and resuming a run would be sweet, as I dont always have a full 2 hour block of time available to make a run for the high score board, or sometimes I get interrupted by a call or something else during a run, and come back to see the game restart and have to start from stage 1. A few issues with the gameplay itself: - too easy to get blown up by an asteroid. Ive been at least a ship width away from one and still died. That hit box needs to shrink - bullet time is useless (and even annoying) at any point except a boss fight once you get to a certain point in your firepower. I hate when I hit a boost powerup or a weapon powerup and then hit a clock powerup thereby wasting half or more of the powerup I just got because theres nothing to shoot at on screen. If you could store powerups like that until youre ready to use them, thatd be cool. - if you buy the permanent magnet item in the store, should the magnet powerups throughout the level not be replaced by something else? (Granted, that gives more of an advantage to the people that bought it, but Ive died in more than one boss fight because of a string of magnet powerups. Insert rage face here) Overall, this is a pretty solid 4-star game. Well done, keep up the great work, and hope to see it turn into a 5 soon.

NOT ENOUGH CONTENT

Ok this game is only fun until A:You get to a REALLY hard Boss or B:You get the Purple Violet. Reasons: The first 3 Bosses are easy.I will guarantee you will become stuck on Bumblebee or Orions Claw These bosses are WAY to hard. And once you unlock the Purple Violet you will eventually you will make it to the final boss(and beat him).YOU WILL JUST REPEAT IT AGAIN ITS ENDLESS.And once youve unlocked every ship you realize the game is pointless...and dont even get me started on building a ship

Flawed not to mention boring

Controls are inverse and cant be altered. What a joke.

Download problems?

Havent been able to update.

Great idea

Fun, very very challenging. Not for slow reflexes. Reminds me of the gummi ship side content in kingdom hearts, but much more intense. Recommend to try. But first, if youre going to complain to te developers because your hand eye coord is crap and you just cant cut it, look in a mirror. Then shut up.

Excellent Game

I love having the ability to make almost anything that pops into my head and then use it in-game. Just one thing though that you should watch out for is when unlocking the ships that have already been created. The ship "Deep Violet" is definitely the best ship in the game and after I unlocked it I got very far in the game. Once I got so far it became nearly impossible to get much farther. This is probably because my reflexes arent the best but, hey. One of the best games Ive played in a long time...

Still crashing

I have an ipod touch 5th gen and when Im going to save the ship Im creating the app crashes

Simple but fun upgrading game

A surprisingly fun game given its simplicity. The main thing that makes it fun for me is the fact that upgrading your ship makes such a dramatic difference in your game. The only drawback is that upgrading is really the only point of the game. Once I got "Deep Violet" ( the best ship in the game), and the double time upgrade, I realized I was done. But kudos to the developer for a fun little romp!

good game

customization is nice, wish there was a 64x64 option for phones though.

Great game

The game overall is well put together with the ship builder and creative bosses. There could be a little more added in the future, but for now its one of my favorites.

BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!

This game is awesome!!

Game add ideas

Personally I love it the way it is but I only would like 3 things added. First: I would love to see 32x32 added to iPhone. 2: I think when ever we upgrade the bullets, we can place the point where they can be shot from. 3: I would like to see colored bullets in the game.
